Marlyn sources and stores bulk chemicals such as Caustic Soda Lye, Hydrochloric Acid, Sulphuric Acid and Lime Slurry, as well as providing tanker management solutions. Marlyn has installed bulk tanks for both Hydrochloric Acid and Caustic Soda and can hold approximately 300mt. Marlyn also has bulk flow Bin storage capacity of around 200mt. Marlyn also has strong monthly supply allocations from all bulk chemical manufacturers to mitigate delay in supply to customers.
Marlyn’s tank farm is equipped to receive and load road tankers with a backup power supply to ensure no disruptions to operations during outages. All tankers are weighed in and out on a calibrated electronic weighbridge at the Marlyn site and are sampled and analysed by our on-site laboratory.
Marlyn is licensed by the RSA Department of Health under Section 4 of the Hazardous Act, 1973 and meets all the legal requirements for handling, storing, and supplying hazardous chemicals. All Marlyn personnel and contractors have been trained in Hazardous Chemicals Handling and Dangerous Goods Handling under the National Road Traffic Act for Dangerous Goods
Actively monitoring tank levels and coordinating road tanker as required provide consistent supply and limit downtime for clients.
On-site bulk chemical storage combats local production constraints and availability issues.
